AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting with Guaranteed Job Placement:

This introductory level is where you’ll get to develop your skills in finance administration: double-entry bookkeeping, basic costing principles and purchase, sales and general ledgers.

Once you’ve completed the introductory level, you’ll be awarded the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.

The AAT Certificate in Bookkeeping is suited to people who:
Have a natural ability with numbers
Are already working in finance and looking to back this up with a qualification
Want to work in bookkeeping in a larger company’s finance department or as an independent professional.
Run their own business and need to do their own bookkeeping.

What you will gain?
This level will help you develop your skills in double entry bookkeeping and give you an understanding of management and administrative processes. You’ll learn how to use manual and computerised accounting systems and to work with the purchase ledger, sales ledger and general ledger. You would also get better understanding about budgeting and costing.
You will be awarded with AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting certificate from Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) once you have passed all the exams and skill tests.

Once you finish Level 2 you may progress towards Level 3, or alternatively you can study both Level 2& Level 3 together through the fast track option.

Course Level

The Level 2 certificate covers the following areas:
Double entry bookkeeping to initial trial balance stage and includes sales ledger and purchase ledger
An introduction to management accounting
Computerized accounting (i.e SAGE)
Working effectively in accountancy & finance
We would expect this qualification to take 6 months to complete for most students.
